A DC analog computer that is part of the targeting system in the detector van. Inputs for calculation such as missile position or velocity are converted into voltages or physical quantities such as movements of gears for calculation. These calculations translate into controls for guiding the missile so it reaches its designated target. The Target Range Indicator panel, at the rear of the Tracking Station. It "...displays two traces that extend across the face of the indicator. Both traces represent a maximum range of 40,000 yards or 200,000 yards.... When the radar systems are accurately tracking in range, the target pips are centered in the range notches."
